Abstract
Effectiveness of radio physics investigations can be significantly improved by taking into account fractality of natural surfaces and also of wave phenomena that are progressing at every stage of wave radiation, scattering and propagation in different mediums. In this work we have presented computer modelling of rough fractal surfaces with modified 2D band-limited Weierstrass function. Some of the features of the surfaces obtained have been discussed. Scattering of microwaves on such surfaces has been calculated. Quality relations between scattering indicatrixes and fractal surface properties have been established.
