Abstract :
In this paper we are going to discuss the optimum unit cell size of the composite right-left hand (CRLH) transmission line based leaky wave antenna on the basis of the radiation resistance calculation of the unit cell. We applied synthesis procedure powered with optimization technique to design the leaky wave antenna. We compared the radiation resistance of two different unit cells and the computed radiation resistance agrees well with the power decay profile.
