Abstract :
The design of an antenna for a Signal Identification System which works at 1.06GHz with a bandwidth of 80 MHz is presented. The maximum gain value of the total antenna required is 16.6 dBi. Moreover, a plusmn50deg sweep of the aiming angle signal with a 3 dB level loss in the edges is desired. The structure is based on a multi-layer configuration with double stacked patch fed by a coaxial probe and low-cost material has been used.
