Abstract
Scaling in the fluctuations structure of electromagnetic radiation propagating through the turbulent media was investigated. It is found out that the radiation in this case obtains stable fractal properties. Numerical simulation shows that fractal dimension of the diffracted radiation intensity and phase coincides with that of the screen. In experiments electromagnetic waves intensity fluctuations demonstrate fractal properties. Laser beams propagating through the random media manifest fractal properties stably in random displacements of beam "center of gravity". In this case fractality is more distinctly observed when characteristic sizes of turbulent inhomogeneities exceed laser beam diameter. It is shown that the Hurst parameter and scaling is connected with the meteorological conditions of the path.
