Abstract :
The paper reports a method to introduce the diffuse scattering into a deterministic 3D ultrawideband indoor simulator. The implementation method is discussed and the chosen parameters impacting the diffuse scattering are explained. The prediction model estimates the field strength and the impulse response. A simple example: propagation along a corridor supports the discussion on the comparison between measured and simulated signals. It is found that the insertion of the diffuse scattering improves partly the simulation.
