Abstract
In this paper, a new broadband circularly polarized antenna, working in 10.5-12.5 GHz band, is studied. The antenna element is an aperture-coupled microstrip patch (ACMP) and a sequential rotation technique using a corporate feed network has been used. The use of a two-way splitter improves the efficiency of the array because of the reduction of losses in the feeding network. The patterns presented are quite symmetrical at all frequencies.
