Abstract :
The achieved technological developments are creating nowadays new possibilities for electronic designers in the areas of efficiency, power density, reliability and cost. In order to achieve these demands, designers are adopting new circuit topologies like: matrix converters, synchronous rectifiers, active power factor corrections and higher switching frequencies.
