Abstract
The open environment of Web is autonomous, heterogeneous and dynamic, and this problem causes the difficulties of sharing, interoperation and cooperation between Web applications. To solving this problem, a semantic-based architecture for Web application cooperation - SI4WAC is presented. Firstly, in order to provide a sharable vocabulary, extension-based and intension-based methods of ontologies combination are designed to interpret interfaces of Web applications. Then, this paper analyzes the process of state transition of Web application, and depicts the dynamic transition process with the state transition graph. Comparing with existing methods of integration and interoperation for Web application, SI4WAC considers static and dynamic semantics synthetically, and gives two algorithms to bridge distributed ontologies. Meanwhile, with the formal semantic, ontology and process can be used to reason and model validation for Web application.
