Abstract :
The work presented in this paper focuses on discovering ordering rules between ordinal attributes. Generally speaking, rough set theory is the foundation of many algorithms of mining ordering rules. We provide a new approach using algorithm of mining association rules to solve this problem. The key to the problem is to transform information tables into transaction database. The comparison results demonstrate that our method can find more interesting ordering rules.
