Abstract
In the following, engineering model was applied to estimate the cost of China metropolitan IP network. The cost estimating model we established is born of local exchange cost optimization model (LECOM) and hybrid cost-proxy model (HCPM). Improvements embody two parts: introducing one more factor into original model, which indicates complex geographical environment, and building an algorithm for optimization of network nodespsila location. With a large number of simulations, we seek to figure out a series of functions that reflecting total as well as partial cost of China metropolitan IP network accurately.
