  • Abstract
    The high-temperature superconducting (HTS) films on dielectric substrates were used successfully for creation of microwave X- and Ka-band planar filter with extremely low losses within the bandpass. These narrow bandpass filter are based on the surface wave resonator (SWR), which is coupled to a ferrite thin film. The filters are tunable by a DC magnetic field. We determined the coupled oscillations of gyrotropic YIG film with isotropic SWR in the frame of the magnetostatic approach. Using this theory and experimental results for X- and Ka-band filters we presume the microwave performance of coupled system of HTS and YIG films in 6-mm waveband.
