Abstract
The paper describes a new design of a flexible wearable antenna. The design is based on the exponentially tapered Vee antenna geometry adapted for manufacturing using textile technologies (yarn based on copper fibers and polyester nonwovens). Experimentally obtained VSWR and radiation patterns demonstrate suitability of the antenna for the operation in body-worn wireless systems in the ISM band.
