  • Abstract
    The tank system is a typical system model, which is abstracted from water level system in industry field. Generally it has the characters of time lags, non-linearity and difficult to making model building etc. For these reasons, traditional PID control sometimes canpsilat obtain content effects. This paper mostly adopts fuzzy controller and fuzzy-PID controller to control tank system. By comparing the results with traditional PID, fuzzy-PID is showed to be a better controller, which has both advantages of PID and fuzzy control, and possesses the characteristics of better dynamic response and higher stability.
