Abstract
Synaptic Short-Term Plasticity caused by continuous stimulation outside can lead to distortion in the receptive field of the neurons in human vision system. A hypothesis on the manner of the distortion in receptive field is put forward. Then a novel detection algorithm is proposed. The experiments indicate the superiority of the algorithm in both filtering performance and real-time processing. So the algorithm is more appropriate to describe the gazing mechanism in Human vision System, and the rationality of the hypothesis is also confirmed.
