Abstract
In this paper, we propose a more realistic cellular automata model for on-ramp system, in which both the finer discretization and the lane-changing time are considered. The phase diagram, the capacity of the on-ramp system are investigated. The simulation results show that the capacity drop phenomenon can be well reproduced when the two factors are introduced.
