The Analysis on Freight Market in China Based on Neural Network

With the rapid development of China economy, the freight market continues to increase, which is shown by the freight amount rise of roadway, railway, and waterway. Therefore, forecasting accurately the future trend of freight amount has a very important strategic meaning. This paper uses BP neural network method to build the freight market forecast model in China. The predication error is just 0.02~0.04% based on the data of 1994-1996, which shows that the model is feasible and practical. In addition, the paper discusses systematically inside and outside factors of the development of freight market and provides some useful advice from the point of view of macro-economy development.
