Abstract
In order to insure the value of information system (IS), it´s necessary to manage the value of it. IS value management integrates the value management into the whole process of IS project construction, helping enterprise to nail down the value requirement of IS, which means to establish an object system of IS value. And IS value management can control the factor affecting the realization of IS value, with the help of IS evaluation, to make sure that IS value will come true in the end. Through the Hall Three Dimension Structure, an evaluation- based IS value management model can be established, which breaks down the IS value management activities and import the methods and procedures to the IS project management activity. The base point of model is the IS evaluation connecting three dimensions of time, logics and knowledge. During the whole lifecycle of IS, the model makes its evaluation of IS value or affecting factor, according to which the model itself adjusts and controls to guarantee the realization and promotion of IS value.
