Abstract
Today, the developments in information and communication technology are rapidly driving the enhancement of networked appliances into home environment. The networked appliances are evolving toward service-enabled networked appliances by Service Oriented Computing. It describes the functionality its can offer to the network in terms of services which the user and other networked devices would become possible to access. Users can request their services and makes it possible to provide new competency by creating a virtual appliance. Because of the variety of networked appliances and their complex services, it has not proved simple for an ordinary home user to configure those services to provide a new virtual appliance. In this paper, we present some parts of our framework such as the service representation and the service matching which enables devices to discovery and composition the service.
