Abstract
A Peer-to-Peer (P2P) network is a communication network constructed on application level, for the purpose of exchanging information among peers. Fractal, defined as an object or quantity that displays self-similarity on all scales, has been found pervasive in nature. This paper constructs a fractal P2P network which could naturally increase itself and still maintain its robustness and efficiency. Experimental evaluation shows that the fractal P2P network is superior to a traditional P2P network, Gnutella.
