Abstract

The efficient and effective cooperation among the members of a virtual team is highly dependent on information sharing quality. In practice the accurate evaluation is an important premise to improve information sharing quality. In this paper, ten quality factors of information sharing are introduced, a specific and operational evaluation model is conducted, which can be used to evaluate and analyze the information sharing quality. As an example, the model is employed to evaluate the information sharing quality of the international courses BOHKNET. The results based on the analysis present the feasibility and usability of the model. Additionally, several suggestions are provided for the improvement of information sharing quality in virtual teams.
