Abstract
Scientific inquiry (SI) is the core of science learning. The application of scientific inquiry teaching practice must be supported by a good learning environment. This paper firstly elaborates the SI teaching model and its characteristics of information-based SI learning environment, and then explores the construction of weather inquiry learning environment in primary school and its application strategies by taking "campus weather station" as an example. Lastly, the paper analyzes the effectiveness of scientific inquiry learning environment on improving the students\´ scientific inquiry ability by means of the nonequivalent control group teaching experiment.
