  • Abstract
University teachers (UT) evaluation system refers to a system built by the institutions of higher education based on their own internal needs to judge the value or level of teachers¿ comprehensive or special qualities, abilities or achievements. Comprehensive and development-oriented evaluation has been an essential development trend in UT evaluation, meanwhile, as the improvement of Internet many universities have carried out teacher¿s evaluation online. But it is limited to the assessment from students. The informationalized assessment should also be comprehensive and from various perspectives. Therefore, in this paper we propose uniform and comprehensive evaluation criteria with four perspectives from students, teachers-peers, managers and self-evaluation. Based on these evaluation criteria, a Web-based UT evaluation system with the integration of UML and ASP.NET is developed and detail analysis, design and implementation methods of this system are presented.
