Abstract
The load distribution on the wallboard is the basis of structure optimization of the wallboard of printing press. A testing method of dynamic strain on the wallboard of printing press is presented. By analyzing the arrangement of printing cylinders and transferring mechanism and other main components, the tested point positions with the strain information of the wallboard are determined. A kind of sensor, which measures strain on perpendicular directions, is developed, a dynamic strain testing system is setup, and then with this, the strain on the wallboard near cylinders is measured under every working condition of press. The function of strain on tested points and rotation of cylinders is established based on the datum mark of the press as zero testing point. Finally, according to the measured results, analyze on the rule between strain on the wallboard and press rotation. It is shown that the distortion of press is increased according to the increasing of the machine speed. And the maximal distortion is on the time of switch of the gaps of cylinders from the state of separation to impression. These conclusions are the foundations of structure optimization for presses.
