Abstract :
This study is aimed at making machinability evaluation and machining economy analysis which is relatively with part structure and manufacture resources during design process, and helping the designers to carry out design machining feasibility judgments and manufacture costs economic choice. The part machinability evaluation in this paper is based on feature and manufacture restrictions fuzzy integrated evaluation, and then a fuzzy integrated judgment algorithm has been put forward. To the machining economic analysis of part, the study adopts the case-base reasoning (CBR) and feature-based costs estimation method, gives the costs estimation system frame based on manufacture feature and CBR estimation model and the reasoning process. Finally the method has been applied in the part manufacturability evaluation system that was exploited on the platform of Solideworks, and it was proved to be effective and practical.
