Abstract
A new, the torque and speed sensorless induction motor control is proposed, analyzed and experimentally verified in this paper. The control is based on stator and rotor flux as state variables. This choice of state variables allows a graphical representation which is transparent and insightful. A speed sensorless implementation of the control is demonstrated experimentally for low speed operation. Proposed control scheme is implemented on DSP system extended with FPGA circuit. Experimental results demonstrated high efficiency of the proposed estimation and control approach.
