  • Abstract
    In view of large variation of output voltage of the self-excited single-phase induction generator, this paper presents a connection method of voltage self-regulation of the single-phase self-excited induction generator with series capacitance, which decreases the generatorpsilas voltage variation rate. The operation of self-excited single-phase of the three-phase induction generator is analyzed by symmetrical component method and the fundamental equations and equivalent circuit are derived. Then the formula for calculation of the generator performance and selection principle of capacitance are given. The experiments of a sample generator verify the correctness of the analysis.
