Abstract :
The developed switched reluctance starter/generator system in low voltage is presented, which is made up of the three-phase 12/8 structure double salient reluctance machine, three-phase asymmetric bridge single polarity power converter and the controller. The three-phase 12/8 structure double salient reluctance machine, the three-phase asymmetric bridge single polarity power converter and the control scheme are described. The closed-loop rotor speed control based on the pulse width modulation scheme by PI algorithm is adopted in the starting course, and the closed-loop output power control based on the pulse width modulation scheme by PI algorithm is adopted in the operational state of generator. The experimental results of rotor speeds and phase currents in the starting course with the different given rotor speeds, the experimental results of phase currents in the generator are given.
