Abstract :
This paper presents high frequency region position sensor-less vector control of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) drives. The proposed method enables to estimate pole position at high speed. The proposed method estimates flux from a full order observer and estimates pole position with estimated flux. The observer gain for high speed operation is decided by pole placement. Several experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed position sensor-less vector control system.
