Abstract
The paper presents a rotor suspending structure in shaft direction, which is applied to bearingless switched reluctance motor (SRM), and deduces its mathematic model. A nonlinear feedback linearization control method is developed to control SRM-rotor suspending in the shaft direction, and the systempsilas stability is analyzed. A developed prototype of bearing SRM is employed to test its rotor suspending in the shaft direction. The experimental results validate the proposed method.
