Abstract :
A synchrodrive scheme for dual linear motors position servo system in gantry moving type milling machine is presented in this paper. The feedforward control, disturbance observer and electrical cross coupled control algorithm based on fuzzy PID are applied to the position servo system to counteract the influence of mechanical coupling rapidly, and then meet dynamic synchronized performance in machining. The simulation is completed by using MATLAB software, and the results show that the proposed control method is effective and yield superior performance.
