Abstract :
Offshore wind energy resources have been paid more and more attention due to its advantages.This paper addresses the issues associated with modeling directly driven turbine with complex structure and permanent magnet synchronous generator(DC-PMSG) which is applicable to build big offshore windfarms.The operational mechanism of the DC-PMSG and the interconnection topology between the DC-PMSG are studied. The operational characteristics of the DC-PMSG system have been realized with the Matlab/Simulink Simulation .Simulation results confirm the effectiveness of proposed DC-PMSG.
