  • Abstract
    We investigate the relation between waveband add/drop ratio and switch size for hierarchical optical path cross-connects. We then propose a design algorithm for hierarchical optical path networks that considers restrictions on the waveband add/drop ratio. Its performance is evaluated by numerical experiments.
