Abstract
This paper studies a torque estimation model for induction machines. The model requires different machine parameters as input. Since the input parameters are deduced from measurements burdened with inaccuracy, it is necessary to take into account uncertainty in the input of the model. On that account the distribution and the interdependence of the input parameters is determined. A sufficient data input set is obtained by a sampling method. Uncertainty propagation in the model is analyzed and the desired information from the set of output data is extracted.
