  • Abstract
    China has recently promulgated its regulation on UHF RFID application, including the technology of frequency hopping. RFID readers use different channels to minimize collision. However, readers that work in the same or adjacent channels will cause bad signal to noise ratio (SNR) at the RF front-end of readers, which may reduce the reliability and efficiency of the RFID system. This paper concentrates on the study on the multi-reader situation, and attempts to propose an optimization algorithm to optimize the channel arrangement and to improve the system efficiency. The simulation results presented in this paper are obtained by using MATLAB.
