Abstract
This paper deals with a self-tuning control strategy for handling systems in which the output data may be lost temporary. The self-tuning algorithm is a modified version of the usual set up which consists of on-line identification and control. Output estimation will be needed when the output data is not available. The output estimates can be updated rapidly while no updating for the parameter estimates are required. This self-tuning algorithm is tested by a simulation example.
