Abstract
In this paper, we generalize the results of [3] to the multi-input case. For a multi-input linear time-varying n-dimensional discrete-time system which is N-step reachable, where N ¿ n, it is shown that the system can be put into a control canonical form by augmenting the system state. This result can be used to design q-dimensional output feedback controllers for m-input n-dimensional systems, where q is some integer whose value is between N and mN.
