Abstract
This paper considers the stability of nonnegative discrete systems with interval uncertainty. For this important class of systems we provide a necessary and sufficient condition for the stability when all elements of the system matrix are assumed to be specified by intervals. An illustrative example is used as a guideline to demonstrate the effectiveness of our result. Simple computational tests are suggested and their usefulness in this framework are discussed. Finally, the possible extension of our result to the more general classes of systems are addressed.
