Abstract
In this paper, we present a nonsmooth algorithm for computing quadratic (i.e., ellipsoidal) estimates of the domain of attraction for exponentially stable nonlinear systems. Our algorithm generates a sequence of ellipsoidal estimates, each of which has the maximum volume for the current shape and orientation. The effectiveness of our approach is demonstrated using a simple example.
