Abstract
It is suggested that a Lyapunov method can be used to analyze the robustness of a stable 2D system. Some upper bounds are given to estimate the robustness of a stable system. Via matrix measure, the admissible parameter perturbation for structured uncertainty can be computed in real Parameter spaces. The solvability of 2D Lyapunov equations is s A 2D BIBO stable system might not admit a 2D Lyapunov equation, so a parameter Lyapunov equation method is suggested for more general situations.
