Abstract
Many systems with multiple operating conditions have components such as sensors and actuators that remain invariant to the operating conditions. This paper investigates the simultaneous stabilization of such systems using the stable inverse approach. For common components with poles and zeros in the open left half plane, the results show that the controller order can be reduced. For common components having poles and zeros in the closed right half plane that result in an unstable inverse, an interpolation scheme is proposed to develop a stabilizing control.
