  • Abstract
Constant growth of the Internet leads us to the question: "How to find a specific information?" It is a difficult task to give a straight answer and information technology corporations focus on finding it. this issue is one of the biggest problem of the Internet, and all players of this market must manage with it. Using search engines is a first solution. There are many examples in the Internet. The most popular are Google search engine, Microsoft\´s Live Search, and many others including minor solutions provided by small companies which cannot force to be reckoned within the market. Each of the mentioned solutions is based on scanning web pages and saving information about them. When user employs search engine typing sought phrase, results are almost always sorted by accuracy algorithm. Unfortunately this answer cannot solve the problem: "I want to get something interesting". Search engines provide us with randomly selected pages, but cannot figure out what we are interested in. So the second problem is to find something interesting for us. Internet web site which can recommend web pages is the most intuitive solution. The portal should have features which allow members to find interesting pages based on votes form other users. Project has also capability to save hyper links on remote server, and can catalogue them using tags. This gives access to personal links all over the Web. This two modules cooperates to gain the best functionality. Since project is based on Java enterprise edition compatibility between tools is also important issue.
