Abstract
We introduce an independent component analysis (ICA) based multiuser MIMO (MU-MIMO) downlink transmission scheme to solve the transmission problem for MIMO broadcast channels when channel state information (CSI) is not available. With the scheme, base station (BS) selects and transmits to a set of mobile stations (MS) simultaneously. Each BSpsilas transmit antenna corresponds to an MS belonging to the selected user subset. The MS applies ICA algorithm to demix different components form the received mixing signals and identifies its own. Simulation results show that applying the proposed scheme, MU-MIMO downlink transmission can be implemented without CSI.
