Abstract
Color is displayed by Printers and phototypesetters via CMYK color space. But if the process of color editing and correcting takes place in the CMYK space, the color error ratio will be higher and the processing speed of the computer will be slower. In order to tackle these problems, In order to tackle these problems, this article is to introduce a method of five-level non-uniform partition and pyramid geometric linear interpolation. It is designed to model color in color printers, realizing a well color space conversion between CMYK and Lab (forward). It will also probe into detailed procedures and difficulties, raising a perfected method of non-uniform non-linear partition for solving the universal difficulty that the color difference remains high in dark tone area. This modeling method would come to a more desirable color conversion result with low color error ratio and through easier approaches.
