  • Abstract
    This paper describes the technology with which it is possible to integrate a TMC [traffic message channel] antenna into the navigation device. Existing solutions are based on long wire antennas that are externally attached and cause many handling problems considering antenna positioning. Fractal technology developed/applied by FICOSA enables the integration of TMC antenna directly into the portable device without increasing its volume.
