Abstract
More customers are now communicating via cellular phones in indoor environments. In this situation, the mobile terminals frequently remain static while being used. In static usage, the mobile terminal itself doesn´t move, but the environment around it changes, due to the movement of people for example. In order to evaluate the QoS of such mobile terminals, a channel model that can take account of stationary usage is required. This paper proposes a novel wideband physical channel model for static mobile terminals used in indoor environments.
