  • Abstract
A statistical approach of (UWB) antenna modelling has been proposed. From generic antennas resulting from a classical design flow (geometry, simulation, optimization, realization and measurement), populations of derived designs are obtained by randomly varying various parameters. Electromagnetic simulations are performed for each sample and a parametric modelling process is applied to achieve a high "model order reduction". A statistical analysis of each population is then achieved with these parameters (poles and modal residues). As an example, an analysis of the natural frequencies of a population has been proposed. The same is performed for the damping coefficients (Re(sP)) and the modal residues. Although the behaviour of these parameters is more complicated than the fP one, a first analysis will be presented at the conference.
