Abstract
Measurements of shapes and orientations of raindrops using 2D video disdrometer have been compared with those derived from a recent wind-tunnel study as well as those inferred from an advanced polarimetric weather radar at S-band, respectively. Results are consistent with each other. This paper presents the quantitative comparisons.
