Abstract :
The paper addresses outdoor-to-indoor penetration loss as a function of the elevation angle and the floor level. The study is based on narrowband path loss measurement trials in an urban area using a small remote-controlled airship. The building penetration loss measurements were performed at 2.0 GHz and 3.5 GHz. A detailed analysis of the penetration loss as a function of the floor level is presented. Two scenarios - two multi-storey buildings - in the city of Prague were selected for the study.
