Abstract :
The traditional design of in-system programming (ISP) flash via RS232 interface is too slow. To solve the problem, the author provides a new method for ISP outer-chip flash of DSP using Ethernet interface with a kind of special UDP broadcast packages. The TCP/IP stack is not required in this design. Practice shows that this ISP method with less resource occupying and very high programming speed, is a good solution to system debug and update.
