  • Abstract
    Sum-product algorithm has been considered as near-optimal decoding algorithm for LDPC-like codes. In this paper, sum-product algorithm is used to acquisition of m-sequences. And a special property of m-sequences is utilized to implement incoherent differential acquisition for single path channel. A simplified method to find the correct original phase given the correct phase of differentiated sequence is also proposed. Analysis and simulation results show that the proposed algorithm achieves very good performance.
